Welcome to Delta Gamma
Home
As the president of the Beta Xi Chapter of Delta Gamma, I welcome you to our website! When our founders created Delta Gamma in 1873, they brought together collegiate women who were dedicated to develop personal growth, academic excellence, leadership, and service. The Beta Xi Chapter at Michigan State University carries on this tradition in many ways. Some include our numerous community, philanthropy, and leadership events throughout the year. One of the most exciting times of the year for us is when we welcome new members. Even though our chapter continues to grow each semester, our foundations and values stay consistent.
Delta Gammas at MSU are a group of collegiate women who are motivated to succeed and make a difference. We are involved in many activities both inside and outside of our Chapter. Whether they are figure skaters, honors students, or student government leaders, each member brings her own abilities and talents to DG. Between sisterhoods and social events, to intramural sports and philanthropy participation, every Delta Gamma is able to have fun while continuing to grow as a woman. Because our chapter is such a welcoming and positive environment, irreplaceable and lasting friendships thrive. It is an honor to be a member of this sorority, where my friends have become my family. With over 142,000 Delta Gammas worldwide and 250 alumnae groups, the network of friendship continues well past the collegiate years.
We encourage you to browse our website where you can learn about our efforts to promote personal integrity, community responsibility, and friendship. Being a Delta Gamma is more than being a member of a sorority; it is a sisterhood that comes with more than a lifetime of memories. Even though the images and information found on the following pages don’t justify the bond we have, you will see a small glimpse of what Delta Gamma has to offer. Membership means more to us than we can express in words. Our symbol, the anchor, is a traditional representation of hope. We proudly wear this symbol near our hearts, and share our hope for the future with you! If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me. Thank you again for stopping by, and welcome to the Beta Xi Chapter of DG!
Sincerely,
Anna Krebs
